Tara (T.J.) Misra is a founding member of the San Francisco-Bangalore 2020 Committee. After a BA in History from the UCLA Honors College with a focus on revolution and innovation cycles, she managed in-school educational programming for the California Shakespeare Theater. She holds a Masters of International Affairs specializing in Security and Conflict Management from the Institut de hautes études internationales et du développement in Geneva, Switzerland. During her masters, she worked for the United Nations developing business partnerships in the area of disaster risk reduction. She is the founder of The Rhône Pacific Group, a company focusing on public-private partnerships as a means of addressing issues that threaten the welfare of individuals and communities across the globe.
